Counterterrorism Expert Gen. Andrzej Pawlikowski at UHD April 30

On April 30, the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) will host noted international counterterrorism expert Gen. Andrzej Pawlikowski. His presentation, “Terrorism and the Protection of National Leaders,” will be delivered at 2 p.m. in the Wilhelmina Cullen Robertson Auditorium.

Pawlikowski is a leading counterterrorism strategist in Poland and has led a range of security teams in that country. In 2014, he co-founded the Business and Intelligence Security Service and served as the head of Poland’s Government’s Protection Bureau. He retired as a brigadier general in 2017.

Pawlikowski’s expertise is focused on security and protection issues and has spent many years leading special units reporting to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, the Prime Minister and State President.
