Construction During Winter Break
Starting on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, Facilities Management will have a contractor on site to do some overhead ceiling and plaster demolition in the One Main Building third floor north elevator lobby (outside the O'Kane Theater).
Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 27. During this time the lobby will be closed and the elevators will not be running.
Also, the City of Houston will be making improvements to the metered parking lot around campus during the winter break. The work will begin Tuesday, Dec. 17, and is scheduled to be complete before Friday, Jan. 10, 2014. These parking areas will be closed during the winter break and will reopen prior to the start of the Spring semester.
