Communication Studies Internship & Networking Fair - Nov. 8

The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Department of Communication Studies is hosting its Fall 2017 UHD Internship & Networking Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Welcome Center's Travis Room (GSB 307). The event is tailored to meet the needs of employers who are seeking junior or senior students with qualified communication skills. This is also an opportunity for Communication Studies students to gain hands-on experience in an industry, career path or organization of their interest. Over a dozen local organizations will be on-hand, seeking student interns for course credit in the spring, summer and fall of 2018 in the areas of:

  • Public relations
  • Public affairs
  • Media Production and/or Programming
  • Training & Development
  • Human Resources
  • Sales
  • Health Promotion
  • Community relations/fundraising
  • Event Planning
