Chancellor Khator Meets with UHD Community During Recent Visit

UH System Chancellor Renu Khator and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Paula Short visited UHD on Tuesday and enjoyed a packed schedule of visits, a tour and more.

The chancellor and vice chancellor participated in a meet and greet with faculty and staff in the W. I. Dykes Library, near the 40,000 Windows Café. Here, she congratulated UHD on many recent accomplishments related to student success and spoke optimistically about the future for the University. She answered questions from the group and introduced Short, who is also the provost at UH.

Khator and Short also took part in a discussion of the proposed master plans for UHD that will enable the University to continue to meet student needs. They then toured the new advising center on the third floor and met with students in an informal visit to answer questions.
