Center for Family Strengths Hosts January Workshop

UHD's Center for Family Strengths is hosting "A Workshop on Child Maltreatment" from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 6. The workshop is open to faculty, students and anyone working in the social work and criminal justice fields. Attendees will receive CEUs (continuing education units) and certificates. The guest speaker is Sgt. Bill Davis, a retired police officer from Beaumont, Texas and a nationally-known motivational speaker.

The cost, which includes lunch and CEU, is $75 during pre-registration (before Dec. 15) and $95 during regular registration (after Dec. 15). Full-time students pay only $30.
