Center for Diversity & Inclusion Hosts Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Documentary Discussion

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, The University of Houston-Downtown's Center for Diversity & Inclusion is hosting a discussion on the documentary “King In The Wilderness: The Final Years of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” The event will be held virtually via Zoom from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 20.

The documentary takes a deep dive into the final years of King's life and explores the conflicts and conversations that defined his role as a pivotal leader during the Civil Rights Movement.

Participants are encouraged to watch the film in advance, which is available to all UHD campus community members through the Library Kanopy subscription.
