Career Services Hosts Job and Internship Informationals

NASA Internships Presentation - UHD student Vicente Rodriquez is a NASA Intern and will give a 30-minute talk about his experience and how to apply for NASA Internships. NASA targets business, IT, engineering and technical majors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for a year-long, part-time internship.

When: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, and Wednesday, Feb. 6

Landing Your Federal Dream Job or Internship Webinar

The date and time of this webinar will be posted on www.edu/jobs4gators in the near future. It will highlight a number of exciting internships and jobs across the federal government and show students how to research, find and apply for an internship or job that is right for them.

U.S. State Department Jobs and Internships Campus Presentation

When: 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6

Where: 1099 North, One Main Building

Donna M. Blair, U.S. Diplomat in Residence for Louisiana and Southeast Texas, will be on campus to discuss her career in foreign service and the availability of jobs and internships related to U.S. government diplomatic service.

UHD Spring Career Fair

When: 1-3 p.m.Thursday, Feb. 28

Where: Special Events, A300

Pre-registration and a dress code will be required for this event. More announcements will be made during February. Students should take advantage of related resume, and interviewing workshops to prepare early for this event (see www.uhd.edu/jobs4gators for workshop schedules).
