Campus Closed Dec. 24 - Jan. 2

The University of Houston-Downtown will be closed for the winter break Dec. 24-Jan. 2. All faculty or staff who need to access the One Main building during this time must do so by visiting the University Police Department in N118.

As a reminder, the Facilities Management Department will perform two building electrical system shutdowns during the holiday break. The first shutdown will be Sunday, Dec. 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the One Main Building, Academic Building and Student Life Center. The second will be on Monday, Dec. 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will impact Commerce Street Building and Shea Street Building. Faculty and staff are reminded to please shut off all electrical devices (including computers, radios, lights, lamps, calculators) when leaving your areas prior to Sunday, Dec. 28.

The University will return to normal hours on Jan. 3, 2015. Spring 2015 classes begin on Jan. 20, 2015. For more important dates and deadlines, please view the Academic Calendar.
