The University of Houston-Downtown will hold the Spring 2021 Pre-Commencement Celebration Parade as a drive-thru event on Friday, May 14 from 6 - 9 p.m. in the UHD Daly Lot. All graduates will receive free UHD swag and other giveaways. Graduates are strongly encouraged to decorate their vehicles and show off their Gator Pride. The event is sponsored by UHD's Student Government Association, Dean of Students Office, UHD Alumni Association, Student Activities, and Enrollment Management.

Registration is required to participate in the event. Graduates may register online. Only one vehicle will be allowed per graduate. Vehicles will line up in the Daly Lot located by the UHD Science and Technology Building.

In addition, faculty, staff and students are welcome to be a part of the excitement by cheering on the UHD Graduates as they drive-thru this exciting graduation parade. Volunteers may serve as part of the cheer squad along the path and staff tables filled with graduation goodies. Dress in UHD gear and help show the soon-to-be graduates some Gator Pride!
