Back by Popular Demand: FBI Expert to Present Cybersecurity Best Practices

Cybersecurity threats are rising, and cyber-crimes are increasingly affecting individuals, institutions and governments worldwide.

In support of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), the Department of Information Technology will again sponsor the "Cyber Threats to Universities and Individuals" presentation with guest speaker James Morrison, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Houston task force member.

Morrison will lead a free workshop that will help educate students, faculty and staff about computer security issues and how to deal with them. The presentation will be held in room A300 at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 3. Free pizza will be served.
