CUAS Needs Help in Alumni Professional Development Courses

The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) alumni play key roles in the Houston community and as professionals they are looking for new ways to enrich their personal and professional lives.

Well, here's an opportunity for Gator alumni to help.

In the coming semesters, UHD's Center for Urban Agriculture and Sustainability (CUAS) wants to develop continuing education classes for alumni that are relevant and aid in professional development.

The Center was established with a vision to create and support sustainable neighborhoods throughout Houston by engaging UHD and the external community in teaching, research and professional development, and promoting best practices in business, technology, science, and community engagement.

Also, CUAS' Community Education Program offers a variety of non-credit classes taught by UHD faculty and community professionals, which are open to the general public.

UHD alumni are invited to complete a survey. For more questions about this survey, contact Roshani Malla at mallar@uhd.edu or 713-221-2712.
