2018 Give to Gators Campaign Raises Record Contributions

The 2018 Give to Gators Campaign concluded with a record-setting $73,173.28 in faculty/staff contributions. This is the highest dollar amount raised in any University of Houston-Downtown faculty/staff campaign. The 2018 effort also saw an increase in participation from the previous year with 52 percent across UHD colleges and departments.

"The participation of more than half of our faculty and staff is a clear indication of our commitment to our students and our strong belief in the value of the work we do," said UHD President, Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz. "You make a difference every day—in all of the contributions you make to UHD and our students."

Each year, the Give to Gators Campaign offers UHD community members an opportunity to further support students. Contributions support scholarships and programs that do not receive state or federal funding.
