Scenes from UHD Spring Open House

The University of Houston-Downtown welcomed more than 600 future Gators to campus during its March 24 Undergraduate Open House.

Each fall and spring the University hosts Open House events to familiarize prospective students with UHD, its academic offerings, registration and financial aid processes, student organizations and other aspects of the University.

During the March 24 event, students and their families were greeted by UHD President, Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz during a breakfast. They also had opportunities to tour campus, and attend presentations and panels led by each of UHD's five colleges (College of Public Service, University College, College of Sciences and Technology, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Marilyn Davies College of Business) conducted in the Welcome Center's Tour Room. Another feature of Open House included Gator Connect in A300 with information tables hosted by student organizations and UHD departments.

The next Undergraduate Open House will be conducted this fall.
