Texas’ Primary Elections are on March 6. If you plan to vote in this election, please be aware UHD offers its benefits-eligible employees Voting Leave, as referenced in PS 02.A.09, Miscellaneous Leave Policy. To request Voting Leave, you must obtain prior approval from your supervisor before taking time off.
Employees with approved Voting Leave are allowed to take two hours at either the beginning or the end of the workday without deduction of pay or leave time. Voting Leave must be recorded in TRAM. You must select “Other Paid Leave” under Absence Name, and reference “Voting Leave” in the Comments section of the Request Absence screen.
