Undergraduate student applications for the Red Rose Leadership Scholarship 2018/19 opportunity are being accepted until 4 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2018.

The award for the scholarship is $3,000 per academic year ($1,500 for fall 2018 and $1,500 for spring 2019). Red Rose Scholars are selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership abilities and potential for future contributions to the city of Houston.

Criteria for eligibility, including at least 57 hours of course-work, a 3.5 or higher grade point average and enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, can be found on the application page.
