Students, alumni, faculty and staff are making their 'Gator Pride' known as they participate in University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Homecoming 2017 events this week. Among the week's activities were a barbecue lunch hosted by UHD President, Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz and Homecoming Pep Rally. Upcoming events include the P3 Paint Dance Party on the South Deck at 7 p.m., Oct. 19; Gator Mixer at 7 p.m., Oct. 20 in S-204, and UHD-Houston Community College basketball game at 5 p.m., Oct. 21 in the Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center. And at 1 p.m. on Oct. 21, the Gator faithful can participate in Tail-Gatoring activities in the parking lots behind the Student Life Center.
