A delegation of University of Houston-Downtown faculty and staff members ventured to NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) to tour the facility (including Mission Control and the Virtual Reality Lab) and discuss the University's upcoming ISS In-Flight Education Downlink with astronaut Joseph M. Acaba. UHD representatives included Urban Education faculty members Dr. Franklin Allaire and Dr. Celestin Ntemngwa, Urban Education Chair Dr. Ron Beebe, College of Public Service Interim Dean Dr. Leigh Van Horn, and John Lane, director of Technology Learning Services.
