Chili Cook-off Registration Ends March 10

The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Staff Council will host a Chili Cook-off at 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on UHD’s South Deck, Friday, March 24.

Teams can have up to five members, with a requirement that the majority be students, faculty, staff or alumni of the University. Early bird registration ends Friday, March 3. The deadline for general registration is Friday, March 10. No entries will be accepted after the registration deadline; registartion packets are available at Employment Services &Operations (ESO) in S910

Registration fees:

  • $35 – Early Registration
  • $45 – General Registration

Judging begins at 3:30 p.m. Contest categories will include:

  • Best Chili
  • People’s Choice Award
  • Best Décor Tent
  • Best Dessert

UHD faculty, staff and students can purchase presale tickets at $5. Presale tickets are available for purchase at the following locations:

  • Campus Events Office, S365
  • Cashier’s Office, S310
  • Parking Office, N117
  • ESO, S910
