UHD in the News: Feb. 16, 2017

In recent headlines:

Houston Chronicle: UHD was mentioned in the article, "UH to Stop Holding Classes at NW Location in August." The article mentioned that UHD will continue to offer course at UHD Northwest campus.

Patch: Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez was featured in the article, "Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce Hosts Public Safety Meeting." Gonzalez earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from UHD.

Houston Press: The Alligator-Horses Ed Hugetz Film Festival was listed in Houston Press's "Ten things to Do in Houston for $10 or Less (Nine Free), February 16-22."

Houston Chronicle: UHD was mentioned in an article that featured HISD Superintendent Richard Carranza. The article states, Richard Carranza told stories of students who overcame significant odds to achieve success. One of those students was accepted to UHD.
