The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Scholars Academy invites any student, team of students or recent UHD graduate to submit a proposal for the 16th Annual Student Research Conference (SRC). The conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, April 7 in the Wilhelmina Cullen Robertson Auditorium and the Special Events Room, A300.
The purpose of the SRC is to showcase special academic projects undertaken by UHD students and recent UHD graduates. Qualifying activities are high impact projects completed as part of internships, independent or directed study at UHD, GSIF poster presenters who have extended their research, upper-level research-oriented lab courses, senior type or graduate level projects or any other research on and/or off-campus.
- Fall 2016 Early Submission: Friday, Dec. 9.
- Spring 2017 Final Submission: Friday, Feb. 10
- Oral Auditions: Thursday, Feb. 16 and Friday, Feb. 17
- Poster Submission: Friday, March 10
