The 2012 UHD Student Research Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 13, 2012 and interested students should begin filling out their applications now.

The Early Submission Deadline for applications/abstracts is Tuesday, Dec. 6 and the Final Submission Deadline is Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. The Conference is sponsored by the UHD Scholars Academy, but students from every college and all disciplines are encouraged to enter.

Students are also invited to present papers at the morning sessions of the conference and at least eight students will be selected for oral/poster presentation and receive a $175 speaker stipend.

In addition to showcasing outstanding UHD student research and intensive projects, numerous representatives from academia and industry are expected to attend, providing an excellent opportunity for students to network.
