UHD's Student Government Association (SGA) has partnered with Collegiate Services Inc. to help students save money around Houston and beyond. As participants in Student Savings Club, Gators will receive discounts at restaurants, barber shops, movie theaters and more. Students can search for participating establishments or be notified of nearby deals using the GeoPerks app, available on Apple and Android.

There are currently over 130 perks at an estimated total value of over $4,000. The current list of partners includes Barnes & Noble, Chipotle, Bombay Pizza, Spaghetti Warehouse, UHD Dining Services, and more. The program will grow as new vendors join. Students can recommend their favorite businesses by directing them to contact the GeoPerks team directly.

To download the app, search GEO Perks in the Apple or Android app store. Sign in with an email address, then scroll down to "members" and select University of Houston-Downtown. Click on "local" in the top navigation to see all the local discounts we available for UHD students. Enjoy your savings!
