Technology Learning Conference to Explore Use of Tech in the Classroom

The Technology Learning Conference (TLC), a three-day faculty/staff seminar designed to explore, discuss and demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom, will take place on campus April 13 -15.

Each of the three days will feature a guest speaker of interest in innovative teaching and learning. Day two of the conference will highlight the work of invited guest Curtis Bonk, professor of instructional systems technology at Indiana University and president of CourseShare, a tool that uses distance education technology to allow member universities of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) to collaborate and offer shared coursework.

For the first time this year, the Technology Teaching and Learning Center (TTLC) will join with the newly created Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) to incorporate best practices in teaching and learning in a new workshop and seminar format.

Participants can view the speaker lineup and complete conference schedule online. Please direct any questions regarding the conference to CTLE.
