Three urban education professors recently presented at the 14th International Conference of Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organizations held at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford in Oxford, UK.

The professors, Jane Thielemann-Downs, Janice Nath and Irene Chen, presented a workshop titled The Education Professors' Changing Role: Application Development for Content Delivery, which focused on how professors must learn new ways of content delivery and knowledge management as technology advances. The group also presented a focused discussion session titled Virtual Field Trip Models to Strengthen Future Urban Teachers' Digital Visual Literacy Teaching Techniques, which was intended to critically review current virtual field trip models, investigate ways to teach digital visual literacy and add an alternative tool for future teachers.

This annual conference addresses knowledge, culture, and change in organizations from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. The

conference offers a comprehensive overview of current thinking in the area broadly described as knowledge management. Its perspectives range from big picture analyses in keynote addresses by internationally recognized experts in the field of management to detailed case studies of management practice.
