Knowing which fork to use and how to converse with colleagues during a business dinner is just as important as knowing how to dress professionally. Learn about table manners and more at the fourth annual Business Etiquette Dinner from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Birraporetti's 500 Louisiana St.

The dinner will feature Tammy Davis, associate professor of business management, and Christi Parker, founder and president of The Parker Center, a business dedicated to the development and etiquette of the modern professional. In addition to addressing table settings and manners, the presentation will also cover the art of communication, who pays the tab, and the role of strategically assigning people around the dinner table. To complete the evening, student models will demonstrate the dos and don'ts of appropriate dress in the business environment.

Tickets are $10 before 5 p.m. on April 9 and $15 after April 9. This event is sponsored by the UHD chapter of the American Marketing Association and Enterprise.
