Social Work Pilot Project Recognized by National Organization

Several years ago, the Network of Behavioral Health Providers, with the help of UHD's Social Work Program, started The Pathways Project, a major initiative in workforce development that developed a curriculum on careers in behavioral health for high school health academies and formed partnerships with schools of nursing to increase the number of students choosing psychiatric nursing.

The project recently received the "Program that Makes a Difference" award by Mental Health America, formerly the National Mental Health Association.
