Vietnamese Delegation Visits UHD

A delegation of Vietnamese academics visited UHD today in order to learn more about how the UH System universities operate within the UH System, the system organizational structure, student services, human resources and various other aspects of the university.

The visitors are from the Vietnam National University and include:

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Vice President, Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (Head of Delegation)
  • Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Director, Personnel Department, VNU-HCM
  • Ms. Le Thi Anh Tram, Director, Administrative Department, VNU-HCM
  • Mr. Tran Thanh An, Director, Dormitories, VNU-HCM
  • Dr. Truong Quang Duoc, Vice Rector of International University and Executive Director of International Education Institute, VNU-HCM, and
  • Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Tran, Dean, Undergraduate and Graduate Education, International Education Institute, VNU-HCM.

During the visit, a presentation was offered by Brian Chapman, Senior Vice President and Provost, Jerald Strickland, professor and Chief Global Officer, Michael Dressman, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice Provost, Adolfo Santos, Special Assistant to the President and associate professor of political science, and Bryan Nguyen, Coordinator of Admissions.
