Students from microbiology and bilingual education courses conducted a symposium, with poster and oral presentations, showcasing their service learning projects Wednesday, May 2, at the Willow Street Pump Station. The theme for the symposium was "Urban Gardening: Let Microbes Help You Grow Your Own Food."

Elementary students from Looscan and Crockett Elementary schools were on hand to participate in the symposium and work with UHD students.
