Center for Family Strengths Hosts National Title IV-E Roundtable

The UHD Center for Family Strengths is hosting the Title IV-E National Roundtable Conference from May 29 to June 1, 2012 in Galveston, Texas. The conference is presented in conjunction with the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.

Presentations will showcase title IV-E university and state efforts and will focus on knowledge transfer for the best practices for major title IV-E topics including:

  •  Field Placements for IV- E
  •  Administration and Contract Issues
  •  Child Welfare Curriculum and Courses
  •  Recruitment, Retention and Employment
  •  Research and Evaluation

Keynote speakers include Cedric McKenzie, author of “She Never Answered,” and David Berns, Director of the Department of Human Services. For the entire conference agenda, click here.
