Sports and Fitness Offers New Programs for Spring

UHD Sports and Fitness is offering new programs for the Spring 2012 semester beginning Feb. 5 through April 20.

With the “Skyscraper Step Challenge,” participants will climb the equivalent of the world’s tallest buildings one step at a time. Stair climbers offer intense calorie-burning workouts, so sign up in the Student Life Center today!

Another program is “Keeping Your New Year’s Resolution.” Studies show that the number one resolution each year is to lose weight and get healthy. Improve your chances of achieving these goals by signing up for weekly weigh-ins and supportive emails.

Both programs have a $5 entry fee, which will go towards prizes for the winning participants.
