UHD's own professor of English, will give a poetry reading at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Discovery Green in downtown Houston.

This reading is part of the Public Poetry series, a once-monthly reading named by the Houston Press as Houston's Best Poetry Reading 2011. Four local poets, including Davidson and the 2011 Texas Poet Laureate Dave Parsons, will read their own original work. For more information on the poets, visit this website.
