Fall Family Festival Draws Crowds and Smiles

UHD hosted its sixth annual Fall Family Festival this weekend and the event was a great success! Students, staff, faculty and their families gathered on the South Deck for fun activities like face painting, a cake walk and hot dog eating contest.

Vendors were on hand with crafts of every size, shape and material and the University Police Department sponsored Sumo wrestling, which got lots of laughs from spectators. The burro rides and petting zoo were a hit with the kids, and the magician entertained young and old, impressing everyone with some spectacular magic, including a cola drink that floated in midair. The DJ kept people happy with lively music, and the raffles gained a lot of attention from the crowd.

Thanks to every volunteer that made the day a family-friendly, fun event. Enjoy the pictures below!
