UHD's MS150 Team Recruiting Members

By: Mary Ann Cozza

UHD's MS150 team is in its second year of raising funds for multiple sclerosis and simultaneously promoting health, UHD pride and community service. Team Captain Jose Cantu, UHD admissions and recruitment director, is encouraging students, alumni and faculty and staff members to participate in this unforgettable challenge.

The MS150 is a 150 mile cycling ride from Houston to Austin that raises funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis. Registration for the ride opened Wednesday, Oct. 12. The fee is $100 per rider with a commitment to raise $400 individually.

To register, go to:

You can join the team by clicking on the "Join Team" link above the list of the team members. Follow instructions afterwards. You may be prompted to create a new account as you move along.

The team plans to hold a meeting very soon so members can meet each other as well as the other captains.
