Two UHD students have some serious moves and now the rest of us know it! Eric Jones, sophomore engineering student, and Eva Maria Gonzales, accounting graduate, recently won the Jack and Jill Intermediate division at the Texas Salsa Open.

These two wowed the crowd and the judges with their energy, technique, explosive tricks, intricate footwork and smooth turn patterns. As part of the UHD Salseros, a student dance organization, you can often see Jones and Gonzales practicing with their teammates in the UHD Student Life Center.
