The UHD College of Business recently awarded scholarships to 14 students for the 2011-2012 academic year. Congratulations to these students on this great accomplishment.
Ten students received the $1,000 Wells Fargo Endowed Scholarship. Recipients must be declared majors in any field of study in the Bachelor of Business Administration program, have a GPA between 2.75 and 3.5 and demonstrate leadership potential through a current or previous leadership role or accomplishment. Recipients include: Trung Nguyen, Irina Weinbender, Lisa Camp, Alisa Roop, Mayra Solarte, Charlae Williams, Sonia Davila, DeMarco Binkley, Jerrod King and Amreen Noormohammad.
Elizabeth Araujo was the recipient of the $1,000 LASSO Scholarship. All business majors with a 3.0 GPA are eligible and recipients must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours and be enrolled part time.
Wendy Auxillou received the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, Ngoc Nguyen received the BMC Software Scholarship and Anna Aurich received the Bobby Bizzel Memorial Scholarship. Each award is $1,000 and requires students to have a minimum 3.5 GPA and major or minor in computer information systems, finance, marketing, international business, supply chain management, management or accounting.
