Have you been seeing a lot of happy students on the second floor lately? UHD's recently updated student lounge might be the cause. Students can now spend their free time in style in S-204.

Student Activities Associate Director Michelle Falcon said the new lounge space was completed last fall and has been a success with crowds daily during the fall and spring semesters.

The lounge features lots of student-friendly things like computers, pool tables, ping pong tables, chess table and foosball table. Students can also jam to satellite radio, watch their favorite shows on flat screen televisions and play console games.

There is no charge to use the lounge and its summer hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Fall semester hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
