More than 1,300 students participated in UHD's 53rd commencement ceremony yesterday at Minute Maid Park in front of approximately 20,000 friends and family members.

University of Houston System Chancellor Renu Khator, UHD President Bill Flores, Provost Brian Chapman, UHD System Regent Spencer Armour III and guest speaker Farouk Shami addressed the graduates and congratulated them for their commitment and shared accomplishment.
