October Is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Do Your Part!

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is an annual initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and promoting best practices in online safety. Throughout the month of October, UHD will post tips to social media to help you create safe cybersecurity habits.

This year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month will focus on:

  1. Multi-factor authentication
  2. Passwords & password managers
  3. Phishing
  4. Software updates

Everyone is responsible for ensuring our campuses remain protected against cyber threats. Get started by watching the short video above on protecting your accounts prepared by UH System's Information Security team. Share with your family and friends to help them all stay frosty online.
